STORE AND PETROL PUMP
The. store on the left, "Big Tree" petrol pump behind car. May Osborne (2nd from right) worked at both the store and Post Office. Thorpes house in background. 1930's.

Frederick and Anne Osborne opened a store in 1931 on the front western corner of their property (now the cemetery). They also supplied "Big Tree" petrol from a pump.
The store closed the same year as the Post Office, 1937.

Cutting firewood
CUTTING FIREWOOD
Using a car to power the saw on Osbornes farm in the late 1930's, now the cemetery. The building, viewed from the rear, was the shop after it had been moved to be used as a fertiliser shed.
